Day 1 Recap: Ipê Village Kicked Off with a Bang! 🚀

Hey Ipê Fam!
Wow, what an amazing start to Brazil’s first pop-up city here in Florianópolis! Day 1 was about building something special, and we’re so pumped for what’s ahead.
We kicked things off with a tasty welcome breakfast featuring local, health-focused goodies. It was the perfect fuel for an exciting day!

The opening ceremony was fantastic! Ipê City Founder Jean Hansen and Founder Haus founders Paloma Lecheta and Nima Kaz, set the stage for an inspiring day. They reminded us, “We’re here to explore and build new possibilities for society.”

It’s only Day 1, and we already have over 50 amazing people in the village! The talent here is unreal, and the bar has been set high.

What was supposed to be only a welcoming day turned into an exciting start, with everyone diving straight into pitches and coding sessions. Some projects are already live, including the Ipê Onchain Marketplace, powered by our partner Replit.
